2016 BRANDING SYSTEM FOR LUNAR GALA

As one of three Executive Producers, I led our executive board and directed Carnegie Mellon's annual fashion show, Lunar Gala. I oversaw the creative direction of the brand and show experience. I managed the nine designers on the print/branding, motion, and web teams, and 120 club members, while managing our $40,000 budget. We transported 1,100 spectators to a new environment by applying the Strain brand across the entire experience.

Style Guide

Strain \’strān\ — The evolution of a form over time from the application of external forces— pressure, tension, and constriction, in order for an organism to survive. Through the past twenty years of growth, Lunar Gala has strained to evolve beyond the usual, and will continue to do so for years to come.
